Wooden replicas of the W.B. Young Building and Gulley Hall, fifth and sixth in a series, are now available in four versions. These popular collectibles make excellent gifts for current students, UConn graduates and others.
The larger sized replicas of the Young Building (10”L x 3”H x 0.75”W) and Gulley Hall (8”L x 4.5”H x 0.75”W) sit on a table or mantle or over a doorframe and are $13.50. The smaller size (about 6.75”L x .75”H x .25”W) has a white ribbon for hanging and costs $10.25. Both the mantle decoration and hanging ornament are available in a winter scene with glistening snow or a summer version with colorful flowers. Shipping and handling are an extra charge.
W.B. Young Building, a central part of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources facilities, is named in honor of Wilfred B. Young, former dean. Gulley Hall, originally called Horticulture Hall, now houses the University of Connecticut’s upper administration.
Earlier pieces are available, as well.
First in the series: Yellow Barn
Second: Red Barn
Third: Floriculture Greenhouse
Fourth: UConn Dairy Bar
