The National Network for Child Care produces three newsletters targeting three different types of child care providers. The newsletters feature programming ideas, developmental and health information, parent pointers and business tips. The articles are professionally reviewed and are written from the point of view of the child care provider.
The newsletters are only four pages long and are issued 4 times a year. They are usually distributed through state cooperative extension systems which enables people to connect with the vast amount of resources available through the Cooperative Extension System. However, anyone may subscribe.
The three newsletters include the following:
The National Network for Child Care is part of the National Cooperative Extension System under the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Extension's National Network for Child Care is comprised of professionals from across the country who have a vision of safe, caring, and accessible child care for all children. These Networks are committed to improving the outcomes for limited resource families and at-risk children through collaborative efforts. The electronic and information service of these Networks is CYFERNET(Children, Youth, Family Education Research Network.)
