UConn Huskies Dairy Bar Ice Cream
Coming to a Store Near You!!

You've always been able to get UConn ice cream in Storrs, but now you can find it in many other stores, too! The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Department of Animal Science and University of Connecticut have entered into a contractual agreement with Shelfspace Marketing to distribute 8 flavors of UConn Huskies Dairy Bar Ice Cream. Ice cream manufactured under this agreement will be distributed to retail establishments throughout Connecticut including major grocery chains.

The ice cream will be manufactured according to specifications determined by The UConn Dairy Bar and the Department of Animal Science. We have the authority to determine the composition of ice cream sold under our name so that it will meet our quality standards.

Ice cream in all of our flavors will continue to be manufactured at the UConn George White Creamery site as it has in the past, and this ice cream will be sold for retail sale at the Dairy Bar.

The Animal Science Department and College of Agriculture and Natural Resources will benefit from royalties received from the sale of all ice cream. The funds will be used to support related programs for teaching students in the Department and College. The Dairy Bar will benefit from being able to update equipment in the Dairy Bar and Creamery.

The flavors to look for in your store are:

Nothing But Vanilla	Vanilla-flavored ice cream
Midnight-Madness	Chocolate flavored ice cream with black cherries, chocolate chips and orange malted milk balls
4.0 Chocolate	Chocolate flavored ice cream made with real Dutch cocoa
Scholar Chip	Black raspberry ice cream with chocolate chips
Husky Tracks	Vanilla-flavored ice cream with fudge swirl and peanut butter cups
Butter Pecan	Butter flavored ice cream with roasted pecans
Champion Chip	Vanilla flavored ice cream with chocolate chips
Jonathan's Supreme	Vanilla flavored ice cream with chocolate covered peanuts and peanut butter swirl
